Sun Newspapers Vice chairman Dimgba Igwe dies at 58.

Veteran journalist and vice chairman of the Sun Newspapers, Dimgba Igwe has died. He died today from injuries he sustained in an accident.

The associate publisher of Entertainment weekly magazine was knocked down this morning by a car while jogging near his home in the Okota area of Lagos. He was rushed to the hospital where he later died. He was just 58 years old.

Dimgba alongside his best best friend Mike Awoyinfa, pioneered the now rested Weekend Concord newspaper and The Sun Newspaper. He was also the Assistant General overseer of Evangel Pentecostal Church‎, Lagos.‎

I don’t see the point in getting into a relationship with somebody if there is no intention to potentially get married to the person.

Was it a situation whereby you had to choose between moving to Nigeria to pursue your career and your love life?

No, things just became difficult because of the long distance but I still love him a lot.

So if someone walks up to you here in Nigeria, are you open for a relationship?

Who knows, anything can happen but I have never dated a Nigerian in my life. It just never happened, I got into my first relationship when I was 15 years old and we were together until I met my last boyfriend who is from Ghana. My father wants me to date a Nigerian.

How does your father feel now that you have moved to Nigeria?

That is all he ever wanted, he is so happy about it. He has been asking me to come for over 15 years and now that Iam here, he is very happy.
