So 21-year old, Jasmine Tridevil says she spent $20,000 on a surgery to get a third breast, and says her dream is to become a celebrity. The Florida massage therapist, says she had the surgery a few months ago, after she contacted over 50 doctors with none of them willing to do it, before she eventually met one who agreed.  

Tridevil said her extra breast felt like her other breasts; the only difference is the nipple, which she had to get tattooed on. The 21-year-old saved up for two years so she could have the surgery, and is also paying for a film crew to follow her around.

 “My whole dream is to get this show on MTV,” she said. “I’m dumping every penny I have into this. If this doesn’t work, I’m through.”

Tridevil said that while she wanted fame and fortune, this was not why she had the surgery. “I got it because I wanted to make myself unattractive to men. Because I don’t want to date anymore,” she said.

Police To Unravel Why 60-Year Old Ex-Officer Killed Self & Wife

The Ogun State police command have vowed to unravel why a 60-year old ex-officer who retired in March decided to shoot his wife on Saturday for being drunk and then killed himself shortly after. According to Police Public RelationsOfficer in the State, the act is not a normal one, and they are ready to unravel the misery behind it. Mr Muyiwa also said they would investigate to know if he legally-acquired the double barrel gun.

The Ogun State Police Command, yesterday, said it would unravel the circumstance that prompted a 60-year-oldretired Assistant Superintendent of Police, Sunday Isokpehi, to shoot himself and his 40-year-old wife, Gladys, to death.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, who stated this while reacting to the tragic incident, said the Command would investigate whether or not the late Police officer legally acquired the double-barrelled gun he used to perpetrate the crime.

The late Isokpehi was reported to have shot his wife to death on Saturday after returning to their home in Ota area of the state after accusing her of being drunk, and shortly after killed himself.

Adejobi said contrary to reports that late Isokpehi was a retired Assistant Commissioner of Police, the officer retiredas Assistant Superintendent of Police, adding that he did not kill his son.

He said: “We are still investigating the immediate and remote causes of the tragic incident. We will find out whether the man was depressed or was under any influence, because a normal human being will not open fire on his wife and then kill himself.

“We will investigate how he got the double-barrelled gun he used to commit the dastardly act.”

He said Isokpehi retired in March from the Special Anti-Robbery Squad unit, Lagos Police Command, and was living in Eledi area in Ado Odo/Ota Local Government.

Man allegedly rapes 20yr old girl and uploads her nude pics online

The Lagos state Police command has arrested 30 year old Olaniyan Oluwakayode (pictured above) after he allegedly raped a 20 year old girl at his apartment in the Ifako Ijaiye area of Lagos on Tuesday September 16th and then allegedly posted nude pics of the girl online.

According to Vanguard, Olaniyan, a native of Osun state, claimed the rape victim who hails from Akwa Ibom state was his girlfriend but the girl denied this, claiming that he was a random guy who had asked her out but she refused.

"I have my own boyfriend. He is a guy that used to stop me any time I was going to work. He approached me for friendship and I refused. I did not go to his house as he alleged. On my way back from work Tuesday last week, I saw someone running out of his house. He held my hand saying he wanted to do what was on his mind. I asked him why he would do what was on his mind when I had not even accepted his advances. He insisted and dragged me inside the bush. When I wanted to shout, he brought out a knife and said he would kill me there. From the bush, he dragged me to his house and locked the door. He used his legs to hold my neck, tore my skirt, my pants and bra, beat me up, and then raped me. When Oluwakayode’s sister came back around to 9pm, she asked her brother to open the door, asking him if he wanted to kill me. He has been asking me out for a long time. I was never his girlfriend. I have my own boyfriend. He raped me; painfully. Even his sister was crying and he snapped me immediately and his sister even threatened to call his mother.” the victim said 

Olaniyan was arrested by officers of the Ifako Ijaiye Police station and transferred to the Ministry of Women Affairs. In his defence, Olaniyan claimed the girl was his girlfriend and that they only fought but he never raped her

"I only fought with my girlfriend (the victim), but they are accusing me of raping her. I never deny the fact that I snapped her picture when she was naked. We were fighting. Any other allegation levelled against me is a big lie. The only thing I did, which I do not deny, is that I took her nude photographs. She had been hurting me for a very long period and we had an issue which made me delete her number from my phone. Last week, I got a missed call. I called the number immediately. When I heard her voice, I asked her what she wanted. I met her passing by in June and when I asked for her phone number, she gave it to me. She even came to my house and we sat outside and talked. She agreed to date me. There was a day we spoke on phone and she was asking me if I had an apartment. I told her that I didn’t want to rush into anything that I wanted to settle down in my business. I do branding in my house at Ifako. They said I raped her; one thing is that I have conscience and she also has conscience: our conscience will judge. I never denied beating her. I did beat her with my head on her face and on her back when she held my manhood. All the allegations of bringing out powder, a knife and belt are lies. I have conscience and she has too. That’s all.” he said

Kaduna women protest half naked against state governor

Women in Fadan Karshi in Sanga local government in Kaduna yesterday protested half naked when the governor of the state, Mukhtar Yero, came to pay them a condolence visit. Their grievance? Well, according to the indigene of the state who sent the pics to Sahara Reporters, over a thousand people have been killed in the area and neighboring towns and villages by terrorists since March this year, and the governor never came to see them until yesterday when he showed up with hundreds of security personnel following last week's attack that left over 40 people dead.

Oyedepo Speaks On Why Private Universities Are Expensive In Nigeria

Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church has said private universities in Nigeria are expensive because the cost of maintaining and giving quality education is high. He also criticized Nigerians about believing in spending millions of naira on parties, but can’t spend such on their children’s education. Bishop Oyedepo addressed this issue while speaking to Journalists on Friday in Ota, Ogun State. His words;

“I’m sure we all agree that education is expensive. Education carries cost; nothing of value is free. Our mission for years long, before we started any university or secondary school, was a bursary awarding church and we have notstopped doing that till tomorrow.”

“Our problem most of the time is priority; an average Nigerian can spend N1m on burial but to spend N200,000 on education (is a problem), because of wrong priority. Continue below..

“On a yearly basis, we have N1.5trn that Nigerians spend to overseas universities, so people thrive on it. Nigerians spend N463bn a month on recharge cards, how much are they paying for schools fees? So it’s all a matter of priority. This is the largest market for telephone in the world. Now, to pay N500,000, some people have only one son, they have huge business and houses all over the places, they will never pay it.”

On why he does not respond to controversial reports, Oyedepo said

“My understanding of opposition, persecution is simply someone’s opinion harshly expressed. Everybody has a right to his opinion. Today, millions follow after Christ but you will be surprised that when you get to Israel some people do not believe that Christ has come.

“People have rights to their opinions. I naturally don’t feel it’s necessary (to respond). The energy I would need to react, I can use it to make moves. I have enough to think about than start running after a man who says you are a fool.

“If he says you are a fool and you are behaving so, then he’s right. If you leave your job and start pursuing somebody who says you are a fool, he has already said so, your going around doesn’t change it. So why going around, why don’t you settle on your job and make moves?

“I’ve also come to understand that those who make news hardly watch them, they are so busy making news while others are busy watching.”

Man commits suicide in Ekiti state after two failed attempts.

After two failed attempts to kill himself in the last three years, a man said to be in his 30s named Mundiu (pictured above) finally succeeded in killing himself yesterday September 19th.

According to Sun News, Mundiu killed himself in the hall way of his compound in Ayede-Ekiti community in Oye local government of Ekiti state around in the early hours of yesterday morning.

According to one of his neighbors, Muntiu had always complained of being poor and unsuccessful and was said to be very frustrated. A day before he killed himself, he mentioned to neighbours that they will be witnessing drama on Friday but no one knew he was talking about him killing himself...

 "He used to complain about the fact that he was very poor and living a wretched life, that he wasn’t making money to take care of himself. Two months ago, he had an okada (motor­cycle) accident that almost claimed his life. He was moved out of the community for treat­ment. Two weeks ago, we learnt that he was dead but just three days ago, we sighted him in the community. Yesterday (Thurs­day), people heard him saying that by today (Friday) the peo­ple of Ayede community would witness an amazing drama. No one really read any meaning to what he was saying. We didn’t know that he was referring to this suicidal action”, a resident of the area said Another neighbour of the deceased said the first time he tried killing himself, it was his father who was alive then that saved him Mundiu. He also tried killing himself the second time by jumping into the river in Lokoja “It was past 12 midnight this morning, a deaf neighbour of the deceased, who we call Taiwo, raised the alarm that he saw something strange and alerted others to come and see it. We were asking him what it was that happened but because he could not hear us, he didn’t answer us. All we did was to just follow him to where he was directing our attention to. Eventually, he took us to where the deceased had hanged himself. He was already dead by that time. So, we just left him as you have seen him. We immediately called the police but as you can see, they haven’t come. Mundiu had attempted sui­cide two times before now. The first time, he had tried to hang himself but thankfully, his fa­ther caught him and stopped it. Since then, his father had kept the rope as an object of re­membrance. Now his father is dead and could not witness this abominable act, he has eventu­ally committed. His second attempt at kill­ing himself was a time we were told he just jumped into a river. That happened in Lokoja, Kogi State. God had brought people on time to rescue him. This was his third time and no one was there to stop him, “ the neigh­bour said.
